Bathroom vent fan No Go!

Hi, we would appreciate any input to solve a ceiling vent fan that didn't work, was removed, tested and it ran. We bought a new one, and it did the same thing. Our guess is a possible open ground. Our rig is a 2008 Safari Simba 36PCT. I sure would like to have a working vent fan so thanks in advance!!

If an open ground is the issue, tie the ground wire to any piece of metal framework.

I would start by putting my voltmeter between the positive to the fan motor to a nearby piece of coach frame metal.

It shouldn't take much "ground path" for that low amp fan.

We have a new working fan, fyi. After checking all the connections, pulling wires, my husband narrowed it to a faulty motor or capacitor. It would run then stop...sometimes. So new one installed and running like a charm. Thanks for your input!
