What is this?

Post by 2ontheroadplus1 »

Hi!
We cant figure out what this 12 volt connection is for! It is laying inside the open storage area of the right dinette bench. There are 12 volt fixtures on that wall, but they would obviously be hooked up in order to work, and they do. Any suggestions?

This is a 2008 Safari Simba 36PCT.
Thanks!
Karen & Jim

Sort of looks like wiring for remote generator start, meaning, being able to start your generator from inside the coach, but being that your coach is newer, it could be anything. If no one chimes in, consider posting the same question and photo on the IRV2 forum, as yours coach is a Monaco built coach and you would likely have better luck on that site.

It is above the generator, but there is a remote start switch on the dash. Great thought though! Thanks for iRV2 input. I will do that. All input welcome! Safe travels

Also try B D Monacoers: https://www.monacoers.org/, Safari owners can join. Very active group.
