Are we the last people with a Safari C class? Haven't seen anything about one here in a very long time. Are we the last Harney County Coachworks 24 foot Class C still on the road. Still less that 40,000 miles on it.

Post a photo. I had no idea Safari made a class C.

Original owner of 1997 Class C Safari 2640 on a Chevy 3500 chassis. Amazing engine, the 454 cubic inch, starts on first crank every time.

Those have to be the roomiest class C RVs with the largest basement storage ever made. When the day comes that I have to down size, I would like to get one like you have. I assume yours has a bedroom in the rear???

No we have the 24 footer. You sleep over the cab, or the sofa folds out and the dining area can sleep a kid. The larger ones have the bedroom in the back. Some of the larger ones had an entertainment center above the cab. We're in our seventies and climbing up to sleep isn't getting any easier.

We have vacuum issues at the moment and can't find anyone willing to work on it. No functional defroster, or dash A/C at this time. It still runs great. It has a Ford V-10 engine.

The vacuum issue with the vents is a very common problem with this model Ford Truck. There is a workaround that costs little or a fix that costs a fortune. I did the work on my 1999 E350 van a few months ago. I just got out of the hospital so am quite tired, but I will try to find links to videos showing the easy fix. Do you want to sell your rig?

Thanks. That would be much appreciated. Like I said, no one wants to work on it in our area.
We haven't really thought about selling it. It has outer skin issues.
