Safari owners...generator question for you folks.
Ok, So we have had this Safari for close to 5 months now and I have checked the engine oil and generator oil a few times during the ownership period. I have read through the manual and even watched a few videos of doing the needed maintenance to the Onan 7500 diesel gen. What I am stumped with is just how do you get to the generator to do the service? drill out the rivets on the rear drivers side panel? dropping the gen from the bottom is not an option for me atm. I am mechanically inclined and have worked for large industrial businesses as a maintenance and engineering manager so I am not challenged it that respect. I am just curious how y'all do you're own maintenance on these 1999 rigs. Thanks for you're input. Jeff.

Everything is accessible from the underside of the generator. You should find a small door that pops open underneath.
