Fogged glass or creeping seals need repair??

Post by mel96safari »

There's a Suncoast Designers, Inc. "first visit" discount coupon in "The Official 2016 RVers Guide to Florida"...(it's good for 10% off of the total price of any window, or windows,  you have repaired this year).
(See the bottom right hand corner of page 139 of this pdf: http://www.popdesigngroup.com/pdf/RVers ... 16_web.pdf)

You can get a free copy of "The Official 2016 RVers Guide to Florida" here:
http://frvta.org/free-rvers-guide/....(or pick up a copy at any Florida RV show).

You can buy a rebuild kit from Dave Root in Bend, Oregon and repair your windows yourself.  The most difficult part of the whole process is making sure you have someone to help you remove the window and to help you reinsert it as they are a little heavy not to mention bulky.  He also suggests that you buy a Ryobi battery operated caulking gun.  That's a must as a typical caulking gun won't work.  He literally supplies everything you need to do this job.  My husband and I did 5 windows in our 1998 Safari Serengeti without a hitch.
