'Has anyone ordered the Lippert waste hose? It doesn’t attach using the cam lock system. It comes with a glue on fitting, problem is I’m not sure it will fit on our waste outlet. My outlet is 3 inch outside diameter, with four cam lock tabs. The piece included in the kit to glue on fits over the fitting on the RV, but it’s just slightly loose, and to know for sure it it will snug up if it fits farther over the outlet, I would have to cut off the tabs. Then if it doesn’t fit snug, to make glue up seal, what to do? I know there is an adapter, but it runs 50, and the system Lippert uses looks much better. I will say the hose construction is vastly better. Went through two hoses in two years, this one looks like it will last much longer. Any experience with this system?

'Robert,
As great as it sounds I would run away from this system. Don't know how many sewer hoses I've replaced over the years but I would hate to spring a leak in the middle of nowhere and have such a specialized hose to try and find. Keep it simple! Or go whole hog with a Macerator Pump (https://www.rvweb.net/best-rv-macerator-pumps-reviewed/ I have no financial interest in same.)

' I have this hose set up and would not go back. I bought before Lippert bought it. It is sturdy, heavy material and hose 20 feet long. I have never needed more.

' Robert you say the Lippert does not use the Cam Lock...the one I have does. I used a short piece of black pipe in. The coupler and then assembled it with a standard rubber plumbing sleeve and 2 clamps on each side. Used plenty of glue and it all works just fine. I agree much better hose. I have had it near 5 years, never looked back.

'Robert,
Maybe this adapter will work for your situation, and what you're
looking to accomplish.

'Thanks John! Going to try to use a short piece of pipe, no hub connector, like another commenter suggested, but that fitting will be the backup'
