I might be wrong but I thought that ALL 1990's Safari Saharas where built on the Magnum Blue Streak chassis with "Ellipti-Ride, (elliptical spring), suspension". (NOT on the Magnum Blue Max chassis with Torsilastic, (Velvet Ride), suspension).

Are you sure your 1999 30' Sahara has the Velvet Ride (aka:Torsilastic) suspension?

'My 99 Sahara Sultan edition 3506 has Torsilastic, (Velvet Ride), suspension. And down to the last 2 plates in front. Still have all the plates in the rear. I'm told this is unusual.
