Slide out seals

Post by Dick »

'Has anyone here ever changed their slideout seals and if so where did you get the material ? I'm mainly concerned with the bottom seals since mine are looking a little shabby.

' Mine are in the same condition.  I did find a product from PPL (google PPL RV) that I want to try.  It is a boot that goes around the entire slide out.  Looks like it would keep air and bugs out better than the seal.  Suppose to permanently mount and not have any affect on the slide in/ slide out function.  If anyone has tried it I would love to hear about it.  If I remember correct, it would be about $400.   In a message dated 5/3/2012 9:28:20 A.M. If you are talking about replacing the bottom seal slide that looks like a piece of flat black rubber,
Monaco Part #12513244 @$2.78 per/ft 3yrs ago. Better have a young limber person help.
