Does anyone use the Baldwin PA 4630 air filter and how often do you change it? I just bought one for less than 50.00 when most were asking upwards of 125.00

Air filters are mostly PAPER. So their useful life (on shelf or in coach) is around 3 years.

So, the operative question is "how old is it"

With an engine in the $20k+ range, do not take a chance on "dusting the engine" with a filter in poor condition.
