Hello Vanman1, everyone here will try and help you out I'm sure of that..
It might be helpful if you could post any picture of what your looking for.

I Finally found a A/C Heat replacement dash control unit for our '86 Serengeti just lately. The unit was for a GM Chevrolet Cavalier.
The EBay price was 30 bucks total with shipping. It's still on the things to do list.
here's a pic.. Bruce.

Be sure you check your grounds before you replace the AC control panel. I had trouble some years ago and chased the problem to rusted/corroded grounds under the front of the coach. The AC control panel portion was part of a larger bundle of grounds.

I used your picture to use Google lens on my tablet to find the part:
ACDelco Climate Control Panels 15858579

Using that line I found this info:
http://oemcats.com/oem-parts/15858579.html
Also found other listing on ebay among others.
Knowing what it fits you could try a local wrecking yard.

I tried something new to me and it worked. Hope that helps.

That was my issue also. I learned quite a lot over the years of search.
Yours is a newer one than mine. You have vacuum control in the center. Mine are the older cable control.
MY year replacement unit end of production run ended in 1999 (the coach is 1996).
Your coach is a 2000, search for controls that start with 2 years before yours was made.
Search GM, GMC, Dodge, Ford, etc. first, I haven't run across any Asian control plates in any of the coaches.
Yours does look familiar; I know I've seen it in EBay.
I do believe you'll find it quicker than I found mine. Good luck.

This looks like the identical part you need. It's not cheap, but way less then what you were quoted. If I'm not mistaking, the outfit is located in MO. They are familiar with Safari coaches and many of our past members have used this company...Hope this helps.

BTW, have you checked the components of the a/c systems itself? Refrigerant, fuses, etc. I know on these older coaches, the pouch that holds the decadent beads in the receiver/dryer tends to disintegrate and the beads end up collecting at the orifice tube, clogging the system. If this is not caught in time, if will destroy the a/c compressor. Just something to be aware of...

Wow John that's the one. Look to the back side for the match. The price is a shock to me and it'd keep me searching. I paid way under $100.
Vanman1 I just sent a note with both your pictures to the Ebay seller that had mine asking if he can find a match. Seller was 70elko70 on the Bay.
