This project adds a 110v vented dryer above the existing Splendide wash/dryer. The dryer portion of the Splendide did not work as well we wanted, leaving the clothes damp and in a clump. The dryer chosen has a vent that was simple to run through the ceiling and also had front cleaning lint traps. Many dryers have rear lint traps and there is no access in the closet for the rear. This dryer fit easily into the wardrobe above the existing washer. An additional fan for heat flow was added and is controlled by an inexpensive setpoint controller from ebay.
