WARNING if you are squeamish seeing very damaged motorhomes you shouldn't continue:

Hi safari friends, for the last 2 years I’ve been rebuilding a 1990 Safari Serengeti that was destine for the junk yard. Ill be posting my pictures here as I dig them up with the hopes of possibly helping people learn how these were built and manufactured.
Little backstory: I jumped on craigslist in the middle of the night and found what looked like a great deal for a motorhome and within a couple hours I was on my way to check her out. Unfortunately, the ad was really misleading basically was a completely water damaged RV that basically needed an entire overall. After looking at it and being shocked at the asking price and even making a joke saying its not even worth the diesel driving it back, I jokingly offered the guy 2k and he pulled out the title, being confused because his asking price was in the 10k range I said worse come to worse ill just flip it. the RV was rough to say the least but it only had 12k miles and actually ran really nice. It came with 6 brand new tires as well as new house batteries and a new chassis battery.

Day 1 2019ish:

Hey Joeoren
That's a daunting project.
My friend James rebuild a partially smashed Newmar. I don't know how far along you are on this but his photos might be good for some inspiration.

I'm actually full timing in it now, still working out some kinks but honestly that's just the lifestyle it seems. I will upload some more of the roof progress next. But wow he did an amazing job aswell.
