I just noticed that there is no cap on what I was told was the oil fill. Does this need a cap that is vented or just some type of solid plug? Thanks

And, until you get it be sure to cover it to keep dirt out of the engine.

And, if it has been missing for awhile, carefully clean the dirt out of it and change the engine oil and filter after running for an hour or so (running time enough to have filter catch dirt that got into the engine).
