Cat 3126B Flash Code 55

Post by joevette57 »

My Safari with the 3126B started Flashing the Check engine light yesterday. After counting the flashes, it is flashing 55. Well my research show that that code means no codes found. So, why is it flashing? I don't beleive I did anything to initiate this. Thanks in advance.

As you were driving had you used the cruise system or tried to use while it was flashing. did cruise work?. I had noticed that some other of my switches have gotten "less functional" shall I say. Dust in the contacts, carbon build up. Call it as you will. With the ignition OFF I rapidly switched the faulty ones on and off for about 30 seconds, without breaking them, of course! to "clean" the crud off the internal contacts. They now all work. I also did the same on the refer door light switch as that drove me bonkers as well when it did not turn on with the door opened and the RVA dash leveller control switches and did the same thing. All is happy in my life now! until the next time. Even for myself, life gets a bit plugged up and not working as well as I may want to be

Went out this morning started the coach, turned the cruise control on and off, and the flashing stopped!
