Either on top of the master brake, in wheel well under driver floor or remotely, like mine, under front hood centered next to the heat box and fuse panels.

Originality, as built by SMC, my brake fluid reservoir was on the front firewall/bulkhead, up near the driver side windshield.
When the master cylinder failed I could not find a replacement compatible with the remote reservoir.
I used this type/style replacement mastercylinder: Image

Mel,

I would buy that remote reservoir if you wanted to sell it. Likelihood of replacing again. During your stewardship pretty remote. B
