Coaches have a variety of smells, all recognizable.
After today’s fuel stop, I noticed a different odor while driving. I stopped, check my boots to see if I stepped in someone else’s fuel…nope.
Got out, did a walk around, all clear.
Looked underneath, and there was the culprit.
~76,000 drops of fuel per gallon, dripping at a rate of 1 drop every 2.3 seconds, and us traveling at 55mph, leaves a bit of a mess on the coach’s undercarriage.
Hose is a 2” RubCo WonderFlex USCG Type B2 fuel filler hose. Gates has an equivalent.
Mine is the original hose.
