This is kind of a ramble, but I thought I'd put it here because so many of the things I've come to appreciate have to do with the workhorse chassis and the problems anticipated by Chevy when they built this thing. I'm not saying other chassis are not good! I'm just recognizing how reliable this coach is. Too bad Safari/Monaco went out of business.
I am really loving my Safari Simba. So many things they got right. I have come to really appreciate the oversize anti-sway bar on the workhorse and the OEM designed and factory-built steering stabilizer. After I replaced the shocks my coach has handled really well. I also have come to appreciate the reliability of all the systems in the coach. The levelers, the slides, the furnace, fridge, stove, water heater, the interior. And the power! Got to watch out because it seems like this thing will cruise about as fast as I ever want to go!
