Would that be the retainer pin spring that holds the shoe in place? Got a picture? https://www.helmarparts.com/2026114-bra ... -down-kit/

Bob,

It appears that the number was slightly superseded. Add and E between 2 and 4. (A3 3722E421). Search that number, see what you find. When you call the place to ask about the spring, tell them that the E-brake shoes are part number A3 3722E421. If they can't sell you a single spring, they should be able to get you the proper brake hardware kit that should include the spring that you need.
Below are a couple of links to visualize the parts...

Thanks John
Worst case I also put new shoes on, but I will check out a couple of places that are dealers for Meritor.
Will let you know how they turn out.

Still dealing with my fuel problem that caused my tow home last week.
I will post on that when we get it fixed,

We are headed to FL in January for about 6 weeks then home for about 2 months.
Then out west and up to Alaska ifthe coach is up to it ;)

One of the sites that I searched had a bunch of cross reference numbers for those shoes, so you don't necessarily have to go with the Maritor brand.

Does your brake have an adjuster for the shoes?

As for your fuel issue, when you lost prime, what was your fuel level in the tank? Where you below half?

BTW, thank you for heads up on the LED replacement for the rear docking lights. I only replaced one, because I didn't realize that the only sold one in the box, usually they sell driving lights and such, as pairs. By the time I realized this, my local walmart was no longer selling them. The light is so much brighter than the OEM halogen, that it border on insane. Acutally, when I was in Maine earlier this summer, a lady stopped me, to let me know that one of my rear lights is VERY DIM. I just smiled and said thank you for letting me know, it was better than trying to explain it, but it does underline the drastic difference. Lol.
