Buss bar

Post by HotRod69 »

Only house batteries connected. 12v on coach buss bar. 6v on the chassis buss bar. Any idea why?

Only two possibilities I am aware of:

Batteries hooked up incorrectly.

SIGNIFICANT resistance turning voltage into HEAT. As mentioned in your other thread, I would replace the corroded buss bars-- not expensive.

Think I may have found the problem. The round multi pin connectors have a lot of corrosion in them and some broken pins. Going to fix plugs and clean up all my grounds and see what happens then.
