Outside generator use

Post by oldcobia »

Is there any harm in using auxiliary generator to power roof top ac while traveling? Cord will be plugged into existing electrical input. Tried it on a short run and tach and fuel gauges seemed erratic. Thanks

What motorhome?

What generator?

ATS or change plugs to go from shore power to generator?

Thanks for response but I’m taking about another generator on rack behind rv. Not the onboard generator. Onboard not working at this time.
