Looking for the location of the solar charger on my 2001 Safari Panther, if anyone can help me there. Had a GSM chassis battery going bad that smoked my battery isolator, after reading a few articles I decided to eliminate the isolator and echo charger in favor of a automatic charging relay (in addition to some new chassis batteries). I have that all working great, but I do occasionally stay at places were generators are verboten and no plug in AC. I wanted to upgrade my roof solar panel, which means looking into what the charge controller can handle. I did a search here and the original manuals which include the charger, but doesn't indicate a location or schematics. Thanks in advance.

Frank, in that string of posts, I also posted a link to the solar charge controller that has a picture of what it looks like, hopefully it will make it easier to find once you know what it looks like...

Frank, this is the solar controller for the large panel on my '96 Sahara:

On my '97 Ivory that controller is in the electrical bay in front of the left front wheel with all the 12v chassis fuses.

Left front drivers compartment under driver seat .open door look on left in the front. Both my panthers in same place 1999/2000
