C-Class 1998 Safari

Post by curry »

Yes there are Safari C-Class Safaris. They were either built on Ford or Chevy van frames. I have a 1998 Safari 24 foot Ford Safari. The Blower fan has quit working. I have replaced the Blower relay and the 50Amp fuse. Still nothing. No heating or air conditionins fan, or defroster. Is it time to replace the blower unit itself or could there be another issue? putting it away for the winter and would like to have working before I cover it up. It all worked a month ago.
Any hints?

Ive ordered a new blower and resistor, why would reversing polarity make it work better?

The original fan never seemed to blow very good .This one seemed worse so I tried it and was much better. It must have been wound backwards :D
