Intake heater relay fuse?

Post by ProCycle »

1997 Serengeti Ivory with 3126 Cat.
Can anybody tell me where I might find the fuse for the intake heater relay circuit?
Not the big breaker for the heating element but the one that feeds the solenoid that connects the intake heater.
Also, what amperage should it be?

Thanks
Jeff

I don't know if this is of any help or not. The only fuse that I see is the 100 amp in this circuit, with the rest of the system controlled by the ECM.

Actually that diagram shows 2 fuses. The solenoid power wire goes through one fuse and on to the inlet heater lamp. The other fuse in the diagram feeds the heating element. Here's a little better version of the diagram. It seems to indicate that the smaller fuse is packaged together with the 100A fuse. I'll have to take a closer look at that tomorrow.
