Flat screen Rv in overhead any tips
I have a 1993 safari high-tech it had the CRT TV in the overhead and the TV in the bedroom I took both of them out I’m thinking if I put up plywood wall a few inches back and then put a mount on that and then just let the foat flatscreen TV stick out I don’t think I wanna cut the cabinet because because I’m not an expert on cabinetry but I don’t like the way the cabinet hangs down between the two seats I hit my head on it a few times what have others done. Thanks in advance

Probably not the solution you are looking for but I made a box for the TV to ride in while we are moving.
Click on the picture. I tossed out the horrible jacknife couch and replaced it with a desk which I modified.
The TV rides behind the desk. When we set up camp we lift the TV up and hang it on hooks directly above in the ceiling.
There's a laptop in one of the desk drawers that supplies the video.

I have a 1999 Safari Sahara and we had the CRT TV in the cabinet above the Driver area. I removed it and obtained a strong TV Mount extension that I mounted to the left hand side wall and mounted the TV to it. I put in a larger TV that is suspended just in front of the cabinet. I can rotate it out to get in the cabinet. I have my satellite receiver in the cabinet and also a cell phone booster. I put this in about 10 years ago and it has held up very well.

I took out the recliner and lamp table and put a 32 inch LED TV in a lift cabinet behind the pax seat. I used the wood from the lamp table to rebuild the corner cabinet where the head-banger TV was.

Wondering if we can have a few more pics of your setup including behind the TV down into the cabinet?jplante4 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 3:23 pm I took out the recliner and lamp table and put a 32 inch LED TV in a lift cabinet behind the pax seat.
